This home’s flat roof above the garage became a walk-out terrace with a durable, warm IPE deck. Built as a floating deck, it preserves the membrane while showcasing Ipe’s rich walnut tone.

    Naturally durable, resistant to weathering, and stained on both sides for long-lasting protection and a warm walnut tone with a refined aesthetic.

    Designed to sit securely without affecting the waterproof membrane beneath.
  • Custom Cedar Railing Extension
    Raised the perimeter wall to meet building code, blending seamlessly with the home’s existing cedar fencing.
  • Lattice Privacy Screen
    A compromise solution with neighbors, ensuring privacy while allowing sunlight to pass through.
  • Stucco Refinishing
    The inner wall of the railing was repaired and painted, creating a clean, polished finish for the terrace.
